NEW TO THC DRINKS?
READ ON, MY FRIEND.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS.

IYKYK Sativa Sippers aren’t your average THC drink. We intentionally pair Delta-9 THC with CBC because they work together to maintain a smooth uplifting effect. Unlike CBD’s sleepy effects that work counter to THC.

Sativa sippers come in bold fruit flavors that give your taste buds a buzz as well.

IYKYK Sativa Sippers have a quick onset of effects. That means the THC and CBC in our bevvies are emulsified in smaller droplets, so they are more easily absorbed in the stomach. Easier to absorb = enter your bloodstream faster. For many people, the onset time is reduced to as little as 10-15 minutes. Compare it to how drinks with slower onset can surprise you – if you’ve consumed too much without realizing how overwhelming the effects are, you can’t put that genie back in the bottle.

For the best experience, serve chilled. Our THC drinks are delicious straight from the can. Or pour them over ice for extra refreshing sips. Either way, the effects kick in quickly, usually within 10-15 minutes, so take it slow and sip responsibly. Cheers!

THC in our beverages is typically absorbed through your digestive system, processed by the liver, and then enters your bloodstream. It interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system, affecting mood, appetite, and relaxation. IYKYK Sativa Sippers have a quick onset of effects, which makes them a good choice for a more predictable experience.

CBD is much more abundant in most cannabis strains and is easier and more affordable to extract. CBC, on the other hand, is typically found in lower concentrations, making it more challenging (and expensive) to obtain in large amounts. We like a challenge. Since CBD is mainly known for its relaxing, calming effects and CBC is associated with more uplifting experiences, IYKYK uses CBC as a better choice for a social beverage. ‘Cuz who wants to be tired at the party?

The key: Go low and slow. If you’re new to THC drinks, start with a low dose. Sip about half the can slowly and wait at least 10 – 30 minutes or so to gauge the effects before consuming more. Low and slow allows you to ease into the experience and helps prevent any overwhelming effects.

The effects of a THC drink typically last 2 to 4 hours, depending on your tolerance and how much you’ve consumed. You might feel relaxed, happy, or experience heightened senses. Some people also get an increased appetite (“the munchies”). As the effects wear off, you’ll gradually return to your normal state. Everyone reacts differently, so take your time to learn your limits and consume accordingly.

THC works in the body differently than alcohol, and it doesn’t dehydrate you or leave you with headaches the next day. Starting with a low dose allows you to understand how your body responds to THC, especially if you’re new to cannabis or haven’t consumed it in a while.

Always look for third-party lab-tested THC drinks. IYKYK even goes further, twice-testing the purity, potency, and safety at the early stage of THC extraction and the final stage of production before our drinks hit your lips. As we create new batches, you can find your can’s SKU and batch number to see what the lab test results are. These tests ensure there is a consistent, “as-advertised” amount of THC in every can that is safe from harmful impurities.

Trust us, not all THC beverages are created equal. In an industry that has so many options, it’s important to know who you can rely on to deliver the goods.

We test for both potency and purity. We make sure every Sativa Sipper delivers the full amount of THC and CBC that’s on the label. Maintaining efficacy and potency is our top priority, ensuring every sip delivers the full experience. This testing also ensures the plants we use are safe from pesticides and heavy metals. Cannabis is really good at naturally absorbing and storing substances from the air, water and soil, so it’s important to have rigorous independent testing to minimize unwanted impurities in your beverage.
